ABOUT THE PODCAST
01 — Focus on Tips and Tricks
I listen to podcast and have heard to so many personal stories that simply don’t relate to me because they are so specific to that person. Sure I may glean a tidbit or two. But I really want listeners to be able to take what they hear and grow from it and apply it. That’s why we focus on educational information that has proven helpful in mine and my guests careers.
What to Expect:
In-depth conversations with experienced filmmakers.
Practical tips and budget-friendly tricks for every stage of filmmaking.
Analysis of successful indie films and lessons from setbacks.
Strategies for marketing, promoting, and distributing your indie masterpiece.
02 — Variety
I know we say filmmaking and people think cameras and videographers, but there is so much more to it than that. I want to discuss all roles, and processes, and business tips, and more. Have a question you want discussed? Email us.

04 — Locals
Although trying to get big names and guest with lots of accolades may be what most podcasts strive for, I love learning from those that are in our community. And let me just say, it’s not always about the director. There are too many other facets of filmmaking that need to be learned as well. So you can bet you will hear from everybody you would find on and off a set.
About the host - Rhodes farrell
I'm Rhodes Farrell! Give me a chocolate chip cookie and a camera, and I'm a happy camper. I originally studied audio in high school, but as I worked various gigs, I was asked to help shoot videos. Slowly I started realizing how much I love film-making, bought my own camera, and started learning. Now after 15+ years, I’m a full time videographer and community builder.
I am married to another artist, Emmy! She is an amazing art teacher and ceramicist. We have a pretty cute cat named Carol. And I have moved 32 times so far and hopefully I am done for a while. I pull inspiration and motivation from Walt Disney, YouTubers, and the other creatives I get the privilege to work with (including my wife).
